With the Azure Expert Managed Service Provider program, Microsoft has launched a global initiative. Only the most capable and reliable Azure Managed Service Providers are accepted into the program as partners and promoted. With the new Windows Server and SQL Server Migration to Microsoft Azure specialization, we increase our visibility through prioritized search ranking and guarantee our customers that the services we offer meet the highest standards for service delivery and support at all times.

Only 91 Microsoft partners worldwide currently meet the strict criteria for Windows Server and SQL Server to Microsoft Azure certification.

What does this mean for you as a customer?

High requirements met

Only partners who meet the rigorous customer and staff qualification criteria and pass a third-party audit of their migration practices can earn the Windows Server and SQL Server to Azure advanced specialization. Here are some of the stringent requirements for earning the Microsoft Azure Advanced Certification

• At least one active Microsoft Gold Cloud competency Average total Windows Server VM ACR revenue of USD 15,000 from at least five customers in the last three months
• Average total revenue of USD 3,000 from SQL Managed Instance (MI) , SQL Database (DB) and Server VM (IaaS) ACR from at least five customers in the last three months.
• At least USD 1,000 must come from SQL MI or SQL DB.
• Obtaining ACR through Digital Partner of Record, Partner Admin Link and Cloud.

5 employees must pass the following certifications:

• 1 employee with Azure Administrator Associate certification
• 1 employee with Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
• 1 employee with Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification
• 1 employee with Azure Security Engineer Associate certification
• 1 employee with Azure Data Engineer Associate certification

The requirements for the certification are regularly reviewed by Microsoft.
