Where has Microsoft Search gone?
Search fields configured by IT administrators that point to Microsoft Search in Bing will no longer return work results.
Anyone accessing www.bing.com/work directly or via a saved bookmark will be redirected to M365.cloud.microsoft until 30 June 2025.
Users should switch to Microsoft Search via M365.cloud.microsoft and SharePoint Online.
Edge for Business and the Windows search bar will continue to support work-related search, with some changes.
The Work Search Engine
Microsoft Search is a private search engine that works within the context of the application from which it is accessed, focusing exclusively on organisational information. It leverages insights from Microsoft Graph.
Microsoft Search brings together results from Microsoft 365 data sources, including SharePoint, Microsoft OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Exchange. Administrators can tailor the search experience with custom keywords, external content, and user interface adjustments.
